» A group motorcycle ride sponsored by the MC Fire Wings, a firefighter motorcycle group, will start at 10 a.m. Sunday. The ride will be to Geierlay Bridge, Germany’s largest rope bridge. The meeting point will be the big parking lot at the intersection to Ramstein’s West Gate. The total ride distance is 230K and will end back at Ramstein at 6 pm. All bikers are welcome to join.

» Celebrate the Army’s 241st birthday! U.S. Army Garrison Rheinland-Pfalz Family and Morale, Welfare and Recreation offers free cake, while supplies last, Tuesday at every Java Cafe location and at Army Community Service. Be sure to also enjoy a special discount — $2.41 for the 241st — on a tall latte, this day only. In addition, a special cake-cutting ceremony will take place at the Rhine Ordnance Barracks and Baumholder dining facilities at 12 p.m. Tuesday. » The 10th Kaiserslautern Classics displaying vintage vehicles and unique cars will take place June 18 in the center of town. Stores will be open until 8 p.m., and a special musical program will be presented. The event also includes a rally starting at 3:30 p.m. June 17 on Stiftsplatz and 9:30 a.m. June 18 in front of Pfalzgalerie Museum. » Superhero Safety Day will be held from noon to 4 p.m. June 18 at the Ramstein Community Center, Bldg. 412. Real-life heroes will be giving fun safety tops. Armstrong’s Club Events

» Comedy show: June 18. Come out to Armstrong’s Club for a night of fun and laughter at the comedy show. This event will feature host Lee Marvin Adams and comedians Jason Thompson and Munchie. Doors open at 7 p.m., and the show begins at 9 p.m. Cost: $20 in advance, $25 at the door. Purchase tickets in advance at Armstrong’s Club, any Java Cafe in the KMC or online via WebTrac.

» Father Daughter Fairytale Ball: 3:30 to 7 p.m. June 25. Dads, take your daughter out for a special night she’ll always remember. The night will be filled with music, dancing, bonding and fun. Cost: $59.95 per father-daughter couple and $14.95 per additional child. Ticket price includes a plated meal, keepsake photo, gift bag and princess meet and greet. Deadline to purchase tickets is June 20. Come in formal attire. Military dress uniforms are encouraged but not required. Tickets are available online via WebTrac, from Armstrong’s Club Mondays through Fridays or from any Java Cafe in the KMC.

» Sponsorship training will take place from 3:30 to 4:30 p.m. Tuesday and June 28 in the Yellow Ribbon Room on Pulaski Barracks, Bldg. 2926. This course will help you fulfill the role as a sponsor for incoming personnel. Units sending student to training are required to pre-register with Army Community Service to ensure that a unit-specific sign-in roster is available. » Join Baumholder Library for a Summer Reading Program kickoff party Thursday. The party begins at 11:30 a.m. and will include “Read for the Win” activities and games, popcorn and beverages.
