Grapes and Graffiti at Kazabra Club: Join us for an unforgettable evening of friends and painting, hosted by the Arts and Crafts Center at Kazabra Club (Vogelweh, Bldg.2057). This adult only gathering is open to ID cardholders age 18 and above. Absolutely NO painting skills are required; you will be guided throughout the whole process! $35 per person covers all supplies for painting. Women’s World Cup Soccer at Halftime Sports Bar & Wings: Join your friends at Halftime Sports Bar & Wings for the eighth edition of the FIFA Women’s World Cup in France. Games start June 7 with the final game on July 7. Watch the top 24 women’s teams battle it out for the title of World Cup Champion. Father & Daughter Ball at Armstrong’s Club: Dads and daughters, join Armstrong’s Club for a magical night to remember on June 15, beginning at 2:30 p.m. This is a chance for a loving father (or guardian) to take his daughter out to a special ball made just for her. It is not just a ball, it is a show where every young lady gets to look and feel like a princess. Enjoy an evening filled with adventures, to include: dinner, father-daughter waltz, goodie bag, and photo opportunities with princesses. $75.95 per father-daughter pair, $24.95 for each additional child. Family and MWR Community Expo: Celebrating Army Birthday: On June 14, from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m., spend your lunch hour with Family and MWR celebrating the Army Birthday! Speak with local representatives from throughout the community, learn about Family & MWR services and programs, and become acquainted with your new home. Enjoy giveaways and the chance to win several great prizes, including the grand prize of $1,000 in European Travel through Army Outdoor Recreation! Military Fashion Show with KMC OnStage Theater: KMC OnStage Theater is putting on a fashion show highlighting the fashions by Twisted Needle June 15 from 7 to 8:30 p.m. at the KMC OnStage Theater on Kleber Kaserne, Bldg. 3232. The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee Auditions: Your chance to join the cast of this hysterical and quirky play will be June 24 & 25 from 6 to 8 p.m. at the KMC OnStage Theater on Kleber Kaserne. 3K Family Color Fun Run: Keystone Club is hosting our annual 3K Family Color Fun Run on June 13 from noon to 5 p.m. with a BBQ following. This unique running experience features a rainbow of powder showering runners at various intervals, plus a light pace and distance perfect for the whole family. Bazaar on the Rock: For the first time ever we are bringing the bazaar experience to Baumholder! Mark your calendars for Aug. 23 to 24 from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. and Aug. 25 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the Hall of Champions on Smith Barracks, Bldg. 8105. Celebrate World Watercolor Month with the Arts & Crafts Center: July is World Watercolor Month and the Arts & Crafts Center on Smith Barracks has a whole month of amazing activities planned to celebrate! During normal business hours you can simply walk in and for $4 each, create a fan, lantern, boat or pinwheel project from painting to assembly. Watercolor painting projects available are butterfly, zebra, bird, leaf flowers and sea animals. Want to make it a family event? July 18 & 19 will be Family Night where the whole family (up to four people) will get to pick a project each for $12. Hogwarts Party at the Baumholder Library: Summer might be coming but we are not ready to stop having fun! Luau at the Tavern on the Rock: What better time to break out your best flowery apparel than for the Tavern’s Luau Party on Aug. 17 starting at 6 p.m. All your favorite island cocktails and food from BBQ chicken, kalua pig and of course, potato salad and egg roll. $10 gets you in and a plate of food as well!
