» The Germany and BENELUX Citadel Clubs are sponsoring the 2017 European Citadel Muster and Corps Day celebration today through Sunday in Wiesbaden. There will be tours, dinner and on Sunday the annual Muster at the Wiesbaden Entertainment Center, where our fallen will be honored. Supervised bowling will be available for children. » Armed Forces Entertainment and Family and Morale, Welfare and Recreation proudly present country music star Hunter Hayes Saturday at Kazabra Club on Vogelweh. Open to ID cardholders and their guests ages 18 and older. First come, first served. Doors open at 5 p.m., concert begins at 7 p.m. A meet and greet will take place after the show. » KMC Onstage presents “Radio Noir Crime Drama”: 7 p.m. on March 24, 25 and 31 and April 1 and 2 at the Kaiserslautern Community Activities Center on Daenner Kaserne, Bldg. 3109. This studio show is a performance of an old-time radio show with actors portraying roles and making sound effects as if this were a live radio show in the style of 1940s radio shows.  Entrance fee is $8 per adult and $5 per student and senior.

Armstrong’s Club Events

Armstrong’s Club is located in Bldg. 1036 on Vogelweh Family Housing. Call 0631-354-9986 for details. Unless otherwise stated, events have no cover charge and are open to all ID cardholders and their guests, 18 and over.

» Speed Dating: 6:30 p.m. March 30. Join Armstrong’s Club for its first Speed Dating event. Find a new connection, whether it be love, friendship or professional networking. In such a large community, it can be hard meeting others and developing relationships. This speed dating event will introduce you to several other community members and give you the opportunity to further your connection after the speed intervals conclude. Cover charge is $5 and includes welcome beverage. Food and beverages will be available for purchase.

» A Taste of Germany: 5 p.m. every Monday at Castello’s Snack Bar inside of Armstrong’s Club. Indulge in traditional and delicious German meals for $5 per plate. The meals vary each week; menus available at

» Women and Wine: 6 to 10 p.m. the first and third Monday of every month. This get together allows women to make friends and form a social network in a fun environment. Food and beverages available for purchase.

» Small Tab Tuesdays: 5 to 10 p.m. every Tuesday play a game of pool or pick your favorite jam on the jukebox while enjoying specials.

» Trivia Wednesdays: 7 to 10 p.m. every Wednesday.

» Karaoke Fridays: 9 p.m. to 2 a.m. every Friday show off your singing skills and socialize in a fun environment.

» Latin Saturdays: 9 p.m. to 2 a.m. every first and third Saturday of the month.

» St. Patrick’s Country Night: 9 p.m. to 3 a.m. today. Celebrate like the Irish while listing to some good all-American country music. Enjoy the great country atmosphere and take a spin on the mechanical bull. Cover charge: $5.

» Ante Up Texas Hold-Em Tournament: March 31. This tournament has a $100 buy-in. The greater the buy-in, the greater the prize to be won. Register and buy-in by 7 p.m., games begin at 8 p.m.

» Texas Hold ’em and Game Night: 8 p.m. to midnight every Friday. Buy-in is $25. Register and buy in by 7 p.m. Other games available for play include dominoes, cornhole and table pong.

» Country Night: 9 p.m. to 3 a.m. Saturdays. There is a $5 cover charge.

» Country and Western Dance Classes: 7:30 p.m. the first Saturday of every month. No cover charge.

» Sunday Bingo: 3 p.m. every Sunday. Doors open at 1 p.m. Bingo packs start at $30. Prizes will be based upon participation. Play the progressive game for a chance to win up to $5,000.


» The Ramstein Chapel is accepting bids for the traditional service parish coordinator  contract position. The coordinator serves for the specified services on Ramstein, works in coordination with the 86th Airlift Wing/HC or their designee, and assists the 86 AW/HC or their designee to manage programs, calendar development, announcements and communication. Bidders are subject to criminal history background checks and must complete a Child Care National Agency Check and Inquiries and installation Records Check. The statement of work and the bid packages can be picked up through Match 24 from the Ramstein North Chapel.  Interview time and dates are stated in the bid package.  The position will be awarded to the best quality and value to the government, see AFI 52-105. » Employment Readiness Program Job Fair will be held from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. April 18 at Kazabra Club on Vogelweh, Bldg. 2057. Representatives from a variety of government agencies and Department of Defense contractors will present their job opening and meet potential future employees.  Bring several copies of your resume.

Support Groups

» Grow Parenting Program is a five-week program covering skills such as simple ways to show love, strategies to encourage positive behaviors, how to help children eat healthy and be active, tips for teaching coping skills to children and how to discipline calmly. Classes begin March 29 and will be held on consecutive Wednesdays from 11 a.m. to noon at Kazabra Club on Vogelweh. Space is limited; register in advance. » Dads 101: A Crash Course for New and Expecting Dads meets from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. the third Tuesday of every month. This is a class for dads, by dads. Learn from experienced dads in this informational class. Topics include preparing for fatherhood, surviving the first few weeks, caring for your new baby, ways to keep your baby safe and more. » A breastfeeding support group meets every Tuesday from 1 to 2:30 p.m. Join other moms and dads for this informational class about breastfeeding, sleeping and normal newborn behavior. » An Emergency Placement Care informational meeting takes place from 1 to 2 p.m. the third Wednesday of every month on Kleber Kaserne, Bldg. 3210. » Spouse Sponsorship Training will take place from 9 to 10 a.m. Thursday on Kleber Kaserne, Bldg. 3210. This course helps spouse sponsors fulfill their role as a sponsor for incoming spouses. » Foundations for Ultimate Nutritions, Energized Metabolism, and Lifelong Wellness will sponsor a six-week class for military spouses to get moving and for better health starting in April. The sessions will include interactive, dynamic instruction on the psychology of eating, mindfulness, motivation and momentum, safe exercise and increased energy, and smart nutrition. » Conversational German courses are offered in two levels: beginner and intermediate. Participants will gain a better understanding of the written and verbal German language. » Stump Trivia Night is held at 8 p.m. every Friday at Pinsetters Pub at Strikers Bowling Alley on Smith Barracks, Bldg. 8105. Compete solo or in a group and test your trivia skills for a chance to win a prize. Stump Trivia is a live-hosted knowledge-based event. Get your team, up to five people max, to test your skills at an assortment of questions from anatomy and science to literature and movies to history and sports.
