KMC

40th Annual Torch Run in Rodenbach: Join the 7-km torch run on Nov. 2 at 6 p.m. sponsored by TV Rodenbach. Children aged 6-12 can run at 5:30 p.m., the main track begins at 6 p.m. Pre-register at www.tv-rodenbach.de for 7 euros. Same day registration is 8 euros. Prizes will be awarded to age and gender groups and the largest participating group. Follow the signs for parking from the center of town. Start and finish is at TV Rodenbach in Turnerstrasse 5. After the run, there is time and space to change and shower. The meeting area in the gym offers snacks and a place for some social interaction with other groups and runners.

Pulaski Haunted Headquarters: Visit the Haunted House on Pulaski Barracks, Bldg. 2933 today, Oct. 26, 30 & 31 from 7-10 p.m. Admissions for adults (18 years and older) $10, students & children (ages 2-17) $5. Younger guests can visit Boo House from 5-6:50 p.m. The event is sponsored by Mu Psi Omega Chapter, Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority and Phi Gamma Gamma.

Young Frankenstein: The comedy genius Mel Brooks (creator of the record-breaking Broadway sensation “The Producers”) adapts his electrifyingly funny film of the same name into a brilliant stage creation. Be sure to catch the live performances today to Oct. 27; Nov. 1-3 and 8-10. Fri. and Sat. shows at 7 p.m. and Sundays at 3 p.m. Tickets can be purchased at KMC OnStage or any Java Café. Holiday Bazaar: It’s the most wonderful time of the year, Holiday Bazaar time! This year you won’t want to miss the Holiday Bazaar with over 100 vendors from around the world, your favorite food booths and of course, jolly ol’ St. Nick himself! Splash Days at the Aquatic Center: You won’t want to miss the Aquatic Center turning into an aquatic obstacle course for the day. Nov. 2 the new WiBit Track is getting blown up for everyone to enjoy from noon until 4 p.m. Entry is $3 per person. Halloween Spook-a-thon: Calling all little monsters! On Oct. 31 from 5-9 p.m., put on your Halloween costume and join us for a spooky fun-filled evening where participants can win tickets and redeem them for fun Halloween themed prizes at the Hall of Champions (Smith Barracks, Bldg. 8105). Best costume competition throughout the evening in the age categories: 0-2 years, 3-11 years, 12-17 years and adults ages 18+. Food concessions will also be on site to feed your monstrous appetite! Zombie 5K Fun Run: Run for your lives!  Zombies have infested Smith Barracks and at 9 a.m. on Oct. 26, they’re coming for you on the Baumholder Sports and Fitness 5K fun run course. Come in your Halloween costume or dress as a zombie so that they think you’re one of them! Registration opens at 8 a.m. the day of the race.  Race begins and ends at Hall of Champions Fitness Center. Holiday Magic: Celebrate the magic of the season Dec. 5 starting at 6 p.m. with the official tree-lighting at Baumholder Headquarters. Follow Santa on his Holiday Magic Train to the Hall of Champions where beginning at 6:30 you can get pictures with jolly old man himself as well as enjoy food, train rides, arts & crafts, various children’s activities of which also includes cookie decorating.
