High wire acrobat Falko Traber, dressed as Santa Claus, will present a
Christmas high wire show at 3 p.m. and 5:30 p.m. Thursday and Dec. 15
at the Christmas market in Kaiserslautern. Children can sing him a
Christmas song and will receive gifts in return.
Children can bake their own Christmas cookies in a Christmas bakery set
up next to Stiftskirche in Kaiserslautern. Hours are 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Mondays through Fridays, 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturdays, and 2 to 6 p.m.
Kaiserslautern’s sister cities will present themselves in a booth at
the Christmas market. Representatives from Pleven will display art and
craft items from Bulgaria through Monday. People from Saint-Quentin,
France, will present paintings and hand-painted China until Dec. 12.
The Danish sister city Silkeborg will display famous glass arts
Dec. 13 to 22.
