Tips about leave Personnel should use their leave to relax from the pressures of duties. Here are a few tips to keep in your toolbox:
• Leave must begin and end in the local area — local meaning your place of residence from where you commute to work.
• To get an extension of leave, it must be requested sufficiently in advance so it can be approved.
• Unit commanders may recall members from leave if it’s a
military necessity.
• It’s also a good idea to let your wingmen know of your whereabouts if your leadership needs to get a hold of you for various reasons while you are enjoying your hard earned leave.
