Operation Open Horizon: 700 CONS executes mission with limited communications

U.S. Air Force Airmen assigned to the 700th Contracting Squadron engage in Operation Open Horizon at the 435th Construction Training Squadron training compound on Ramstein Air Base, Nov. 11. The exercise prepared Airmen for a bare-base deployment scenario with minimal communications capabilities. Multiple exercise injects and different requirement packages tested contracting specialists’ abilities to work as a team, prioritize and quickly execute the mission, while adhering to legal requirements.
