Jamie O’Neal returns to Operation Season’s Greetings to perform with musicians from the Band of the U.S. Air Force Reserve and the U.S. Air Forces in Europe Band.
Ms. O’Neal, who wowed the Ramstein crowd at last year’s performance, is part of the show that takes her to Southwest Asia and throughout Europe to entertain U.S. military troops and their families. The crowd can expect to hear her chart-topping tunes from albums “Brave” and “Shiver,” including her No. 1 hits, “When I Think About Angels” and “There is No Arizona.”

Joining her will be Latin sensation Melina León. And, to help warm up the crowd, the world champion New England Patriots Cheerleaders are sending six members of their cheerleading squad to accompany the tour.

The Operation Season’s Greetings tour, sponsored by Headquarters U.S. Air Forces in Europe at Ramstein and Headquarters Air Force Reserve Command in Georgia, offers free shows for servicemembers and their families overseas.

The tour kicked off in Europe Nov. 18 and takes the entertainers to Germany, Turkey, England and locations in Southwest Asia. Ms. León brings Latin flavor and diversity to Operation Season’s Greetings performing with musicians from the Band of the U.S. Air Force Reserve and the U.S. Air Forces in Europe Band. Funnyman Dick Hardwick kicked off the Operation Season’s Greetings show on Ramstein Thursday with a performance at the Enlisted Club.

Ms. León made her first record in 1997, called “Mujeres Liberadas.” Soon after she climbed Puerto Rican charts with “Cuando una Mujer” and made her debut as a composer with a song called “Te Amo.” After releasing “Baño de Luna,” the singer was awarded Best Female Merengue Record. Ms. León’s voice delivers her passion for music and she has produced several successful albums and singles on the Billboard Latin Charts. Servicemembers and their families will be treated with the performance of new singles from her forthcoming album, “Vas a Pagar y Sus Exitos.”
“I’m thrilled to be a part of this wonderful opportunity with Jamie O’Neal, Dick Hardwick, the New England Patriots Cheerleaders and members of the Air Force Band entertaining U.S. military men and women around the world,” said Ms. León.

“I am looking forward to meeting them and learning about their experiences.”
