Spring Hunting Course

Duration: now – June 3

We are still accepting participants to the German Hunting Course, an intensive program (approximately 8 weeks) which covers all facets of hunting in Germany. During this course, participants will learn land management, game disease and harvest plans, as well as earn the right to hunt and own firearms and a lifelong hunting certification. Hunting license valid throughout Europe. Limited spaces available for this course. Cost $250 plus additional fees to include membership and range fees.

Paintball Season Kick-off

April 6 & 7

Come out to one of the largest Army Paintball fields in Europe for this year’s season kick-off.

Feel free to come out solo or with a group of friends to enjoy a day of excitement! We will organize two teams for continuous all day game play! We will run multiple team formatted games and allow players to enter throughout the day. You will learn to strategize and work as a team, with either friends or complete strangers. Paintball is available the first full weekend of every month. Cost: Full Rental + Field Fee: $30

Keukenhof Gardens

April 13 (Tulip Parade), May 4 & 18

Keukenhof has been the world’s largest flower garden for over fifty years. This trip will take you to 80 acres of tulip gardens in Keukenhof where many fascinating flower arrangements spread along winding, gentle and paved paths. Tulips, daffodils, hyacinths, narcissi, orchids, azaleas, and hydrangeas in every color imaginable are represented, as are many more! For a different perspective of the gardens, take an electric ‘whisper boat’ cruise on one of the many canals. You will also visit a cheese farm and wooden shoe shop on the way to the gardens where you can stock up on traditional Dutch specialty items. Cost: $89 per person

Sup/Kayak Foundations

April 8 or 22                          

A new addition in 2019! Join us at the Ramstein Aquatic Center for an evening of fun exploring your choice of watercraft including stand up paddleboard (SUP) or kayak. Do you already have experience in a boat? Our trained instructors can help you develop new skills including stroke combinations and a progression to rolling your kayak back over if you’ve flipped! Fun for all ages and a great way to see how you might like some of our more committing water itineraries. Sign up at ODR, show up at Aquatic Center dressed to have fun! Cost: $19 

Rhine Bicycle Tour

April 13

Embark on a journey through one of the most naturally and historically significant sections of the mighty Rhine River. The upper middle Rhine has been labeled a UNESCO World Heritage site due to the castles, vineyards and famous geological wonders lining the river banks. Bring food, water and weather appropriate clothing – fitness and endurance suggested. Cost: $40, Age: 18+
