Deb Blake (above), band director for Landstuhl Elementary and Middle School, conducts 125 select band students from seven Kaiserslautern district American middle schools during a combined concert March 30 at Kaiserslautern American Middle School. Sixth-grader Kaitlyn Allen from Ramstein American Middle School and LEMS eighth-grader Jimmy Martin (right) play in the flute section during the concert, which gave students the chance to play with others of advanced ability, and celebrated Music In Our Schools Month.
