***image1***The Project CHEER program is gearing up in time for the holidays with more than  $140,000 in cash and in-kind sponsorship, all to be used for prizes and implementing a variety of programs.

From Nov. 1 to March 31, Project CHEER will feature cash prizes, a Wrestlemania trip giveaway and hundreds of events throughout the season.

The program details are now at www.projectcheer.org, which features information on prizes, giveaways, events and all the U.S. Air Forces in Europe command programs taking place.

This year’s programs include glow-in-the-dark golf, USAFE paintball challenge, USAFE Texas Hold’em tournaments, Fantasy Football, survivor challenge, cosmic bowling  and Merry Movie Magic. Project CHEER stands for Creating Hope, Energy, Enthusiasm and Recreation for our young Airmen and runs from November through March annually.

It’s designed to provide additional support to single and unaccompanied Airmen ages 18 to 25 during the winter months and holidays. The special interest program develops and implements events and programs that provide Airmen with various opportunities to socialize, relax and enjoy themselves.
