Ramstein Airmen take flight with Bulgarian partners

A U.S. Air Force C-130J Super Hercules and a Bulgarian air force C-47J Spartan fly over Plovdiv, Bulgaria, during exercise Thracian Summer 2016 July 20. Through Thracian Summer, the United States and Bulgaria enhance their mutual abilities to work together, with other NATO nations and with key regional partners on regional security and help prepare Bulgaria for potential future operations in support of contingency operations around the world. The U.S. values the shared commitment and close cooperation with Bulgaria and other NATO allies on countering a range of regional and global threats.
