Ramstein celebrates Fire Prevention Week

Members of the Kaiserslautern Military Community watch a live training demonstration during the Fire Prevention Week open house Oct. 7 on Ramstein Air Base. The demonstration involved fire fighters putting out a simulated aircraft fire. Fire Departments from Ramstein-Miesenbach, Landstuhl, Carlsberg, and Technical Relief Foundation (THW) Kaiserslautern, participated in the parade and open house. This year’s theme, “Every second counts, plan two ways out!” encourages families to have more than one exit plan in case of an emergency.
