The Armed Forces Communications and Electronics Association Kaiserslautern Chapter 158 hosts its Ramstein Winter Technology Exposition from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Feb. 8 at the Ramstein Officers’ Club.

U.S. Air Forces in Europe/A6 sponsors the expo, which is free to all military, civilian and contractor personnel.

“This winter expo is a preview to the summer expo, which will be a lot bigger,” said Mindy Sartori, event manager, National Conference Services, Inc. “We have about 35 exhibitors showing off the latest and greatest technologies in only one day.”
“Technology for the Warfighter … Enabling Cyber Dominance” is the theme of the exposition.

“The winter tech expo is a great place for everyone to check new technologies that might help them with their work or help today’s and tomorrow’s warfighter,” said  Maj. Chris Haberstroh, 1st Combat Communications Squadron and AFCEA member. “You don’t have to be in Comm to appreciate everything that will be there.”

Exhibitors will demonstrate the latest in telecommunications equipment, satellite communications, network data storage, voice response, translator, reusable shipping containers, amplifiers, SMIME encryption, wireless and mobile communication, disaster recovery, green IT products, and more.
