Ramstein wins USAFE Dollar Daze prize

The Ramstein Bowling Center in conjunction with the U.S. Air Forces in Europe Dollar Daze Program awarded Chief Master Sgt. Gary Gerhart, USAFE/A4, with a $500 cash prize Aug. 23.

Dollar Daze was a USAFE-wide bowling promotion that highlighted $1 games every Sunday in May, June and July. The program was intended to retain spring league bowlers and increase summer bowling.

Chief Gerhart and his family bowl all yearlong. During Dollar Daze, they bowled two to three Sundays a month.

All authorized USAFE participants were entered into an official drawing, which took place Aug. 13. Participants were eligible to register one time for each game bowled during the Dollar Daze promotion.

“I was very surprised and felt very lucky,” said Chief Gerhart about being notified he had won the $500 cash prize through USAFE’s Dollar Daze program.
The Ramstein Bowling Center has many bowling events throughout the year, such as cosmic bowling, tournaments and family days.
