Open the curtains and let the notes fly – it’s time for the spring musical at Ramstein High School.

This year’s show, “The Beauty and the Beast,” is definitely a must-see. As always, the talented students and dedicated teachers at RHS have managed to put together a fantastic show, full of amazing actors and show-stopping musical performances.
“This is the best group of students I’ve ever worked with,” said Deborah Smith, the director of this year’s musical. “They were tons of fun and they all have a great deal of talent.”

The whimsical costumes and scenery add to the excitement of the night. Audience members have a unique chance to relive the fairytale classic.

“The costumes are fantastic, and so is the set,” Ms. Smith said. “It’s just like walking into the movie.”

The theater version of the popular Disney film, this exciting, colorful family show will appeal to adults and children alike.

“Because the kids are familiar with the animated version, they’ll love the real-life Beauty and the Beast even more,” Ms. Smith said. “They even get to take pictures with Belle and the Beast after the show.”

These snapshots are among many new things that the Ramstein Royal Players are offering to sell to audience members, including T-shirts with the “Beauty and the Beast” logo and light-up plastic roses.

“These souvenirs are a way to commemorate a memory-making story,” Ms. Smith said. “They give the kids, as well as the adults, a chance to remember this great night with their family.”
