***image1***An 86th Airlift Wing C-130 Hercules releases a heavy cargo pallet over the drop zone near Yakima, Wash., to compete for points during the 2005 Air Mobility Expeditionary Rodeo. Two teams from Ramstein earned first place in the competition, held June 19 to 24 at McChord Air Force Base, Wash. The 86th Airlift Wing team won Best Aeromedical, Best Aeromedical Endurance Course Crew and Best C-130 Shortfield Landing Crew. The 721st Air Mobility Operations Group, composed of Airman from U.S. Air Forces in Europe bases, won Best Enroute Engine Running Offload Team. The six-day readiness competition focused on improving worldwide air mobility forces professional core abilities.
