Spring carnival
Landstuhl Elementary and Middle School’s annual spring carnival will be from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. April 1, at the school. Events include games, face painting, art room “make-n-take,â€? prizes, food  and the gift basket silent auction. Anyone wishing to volunteer may contact Bonnie Matheney at bonnie@bmatheney.com. For more information, contact carnival sponsor Joan Baker at 488-6503.

Evening of art
Vogelweh Elementary School will host an “Evening of the Arts� Thursday, featuring student performances and displays of art work. The event, in the school cafeteria, Bldg. 1178, is free and open to the public. There will be two shows, each with a 30-minute gallery viewing time followed by musical performances. The first show will run from 6 to 7 p.m. for kindergarten to second-grade classes. The second show is from 7 to 8 p.m. for third to fifth-grade classes.
