Engineering workshop

Join SKIESUnlimited for an exciting engineering workshop demo from noon to 3 p.m. Saturday on Pulaski Barracks, Bldg. 2901. The demo will include activities such as building drawbridges, electrical engines, cranes, gear boxes and more. Open to ages 4 to 18; must be accompanied by an adult. Paws & Pals

The next Paws & Pals event will take place at 3 p.m. Wednesday at the Rheinland-Pfalz Library in Landstuhl, Bldg. 3810. The Paws & Pals program helps children improve their literacy skills by teaming up with a registered volunteer dog to read books. Open to preschool through middle school-aged children. Preschool Holiday Storytime

Join the Rheinland-Pfalz Library in Landstuhl, Bldg. 3810, for a special Preschool Holiday Storytime at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday. Teddy Bear Sleepover

Rheinland-Pfalz Library in Landstuhl is having their annual Teddy Bear Sleepover. Children are invited to attend a special stuffed animal story time at 6 p.m. on Jan. 8 and then to tuck in their stuffed animals for a sleepover. Come back at 9 a.m. Jan. 9 to enjoy a muffin breakfast and to bring their stuffed animal home. Open to all ages. No registration required. Youth guitar lessons

SKIESUnlimited now offers guitar lessons for youth ages 9 to 18 years old. Lessons are available by appointment at beginner and advanced levels. Participants are asked to bring the following: acoustic guitar, notebook and pencil.
