Service Culture Spotlight: Julie Stevens

U.S. Army Garrison Rheinland-Pfalz highlights Julie Stephens for Service Culture Spotlight!

Calling Manitowoc, Wisconsin, her hometown, Julie serves as a generalist for Army Community Service.

Her primary duties include running the volunteer program and the Army Family Action Plan. As the Army Volunteer Corps Coordinator, Julie trains organization points of contact throughout all of USAG Rheinland-Pfalz’s active-duty units across all 31 sites, in addition to all other organizations utilizing volunteer services. Julie also plans and executes the annual garrison Volunteer Recognition Ceremony as lead for the Army Family Action Plan, Julie’s duties include identifying subject matter experts for quality-of-life issues, working issues to completion at the local level and coordination and execution of the annual AFAP conference.

Julie has been working for the garrison for one and a half years and was on active-duty status for four and a half years.

Whether someone is active duty, retiree, DA civilian or family member, my goal is to provide excellent customer service, help our people achieve their goals and work every day to improve the quality-of-life for those living and working in our community.”
