Calling Fort Worth, Texas, her hometown, Norma serves as the administrative support assistant for USAG Rheinland-Pfalz’s MWR-Parent and Outreach Services for Child and Youth Services.

Norma’s primary duties include providing information about the organization, function, activities, and personnel. She also provides a variety of administrative support including registering personnel for childcare, before and after school care, the teen center, sports and SKIES activities.

She’s been working for the garrison for 6 years and 10 months but has had close to 8 years of civil service under her belt.

“I enjoy every aspect of my job to include the synergy between co-workers and leadership at all levels. I am particularly excited with the daily interaction with service members and their families assisting them with community activities provided by Child and Youth Services. Being stationed abroad brings challenges to work-life balance. I am delighted to make their life a little easier by offering CYS services and assisting them with community activities. As an employee, I take great pride in providing excellent customer service.”
