Service Culture Spotlight: Terry Dunlap

U.S. Army Garrison Rheinland-Pfalz highlights Terry Dunlap for Service Culture Spotlight!

Calling San Diego, California, and Jacksonville, Florida, his hometowns, Terry serves as U.S. Army Garrison Rheinland-Pfalz’s Deputy Director for the Directorate of Emergency Services, or DES.

Terry’s primary duty is to supervise the three pillars in DES which are Fire and Emergency Services, Physical Security, and Law Enforcement.

He coordinates force protection measures with authorities of the local civilian community and other garrison directors to ensure the effective and efficient management of DES programs and services.

Terry also acts as a liaison between DES, Staff Judge Advocate, Public Affairs Office, U.S. European Command HQS, 3rd Air Force Command and German law enforcement authorities throughout the Rheinland-Pfalz state in matters of security and law enforcement support.

Terry has been working in the civil service for over 30 years and had been on active-duty status for 26 years.
