The 431st and 435th services organizations will host its Annual Newcomers’ Party 5 to 10 p.m. Aug. 26 at the Vogelweh Skate Express. All KMC ID cardholders are invited to attend this festive introduction to the community.
The party includes skate games, music and a disc jockey, face painting, a bouncy castle, and more.

The newcomers’ program started five years ago as a way to introduce families new to the KMC to the different benefits provided by services.

“We’re very proud of the event. It enables our KMC families to see first hand what 431st and 435th services are providing them,” said Lisa Pajac, 431st Services Community Support Flight chief. “It feels great to know the community will benefit from our event.”

More than 20 services facilities will be represented with staff members and information tables.

“As overseas military members, we rely greatly on our services organizations to provide everything from child care to entertainment avenues,” said Anne Marie Horne, Skate Express assistant manager.

The price of admission for the Newcomers’ Party is $5 per person, and children under 2 are free. The cost includes entry, face painting, bouncy castle time, maze entry and skating. The snack bar will be open to provide food.
