Sign up early for federal Student Meal Program

School Liason Office

The Ramstein and Landstuhl Schools Liaison Office has started the revalidation process for the U.S. Department of Agriculture Free and Reduced Student Meal Program.

Because of income changes and new eligibility guidelines,  it is necessary for all families to revalidate eligibility each school year. Authorization of eligibility for the Student Meal Program will not transfer to the upcoming school year.
New families who would like to participate can pick up an application at any of the KMC schools or Schools Liaison Offices.

For example, an E7 with 14 years of service, only one income within the household and three dependents, could qualify and save up to $320.25 per student in 2006-2007.

For each child in the program, the Kaiserslautern-Landstuhl Spouses Association’s Bright Eyes program will pay for one pair of eyeglasses per year for each child identified as needing corrective eye wear. Contact the  school nurse for more information.

For Ramstein and Landstuhl schools, turn in applications to the 435th Mission Support Group Schools Liaison Office, Bldg. 2106, Room 207 or call 06371-47-9374 or 480-9374.

For Kaiserslautern, Vogelweh and Sembach schools, turn in applications to the 431st Air Base Group SLO, Kapaun, Bldg. 2786, Room 216 or call 0631-536-6771 or 489-6771.
