U.S. Army Garrison Rheinland-Pfalz Commander Col. Keith E. Igyarto and Command Sgt. Maj. Brian N. Hauke fill out pledge forms to donate to Army Emergency Relief, which is dedicated to “Helping the Army Take Care of its Own.” The AER campaign takes place from March 1 to May 15 and provides emergency financial assistance to Soldiers, retired Soldiers and their families by providing grants, interest-free loans and scholarships. There are two AER Kickoff Breakfast events: 7:30 to 9 a.m. Feb. 28 at Hard Rock Dining Facility in Baumholder, and 7 to 8:30 a.m. March 1 at Armstrong’s Club on Vogelweh.
