Ramstein was leading 23-19 at halftime, but Kaiserslautern put together a 28 point 2nd half (aided by good foul shooting) to earn the Division I contest.  High scorers for Ramstein were Junior A.J. Hawkins with 14 points followed by Seniors Allen Weaver with 10 and Trey Dulaney with 6.

Saturday at home, the Royals hosted the Lakenheath Lancers and played very well pulling away to win 61-21. The Royals used a strong press and pressure defense to close Lakenheath down on offense.

Seniors Dan Delaney and Sanchez Barnes controlled the rebounds and play close to the basket while the scoring was picked up by Junior A.J. Hawkins (20 points), Junior Whitney McCloud (17) and Senior Allen Weaver (15).

The Royals travel to Heidelberg on Tuesday to play a non-conference game and then host Wiesbaden today in conference play.  Four games will be played at Ramstein HS with the JV Girls starting at 4 p.m. (Courtesy of Ramstein American High School)
