Speedball

***image1***Chris Matthews fires away during the first speedball tournament held at the 431st Air Base Squadron’s Rod and Gun Club on Vogelweh. Matthews was part of a three-man team named Scurp Inc., which participated in the paintball competition. Fifteen American and German teams entered the competition from the local area, the Heidelberg area and Spangdahlem Air Base. Sherry Hamlet, manager of the Rod and Gun Club called the tournament a success and said that there will be more paintball tournaments next year starting in the spring.
