Leap Frog Jog
Leap into the New Year with a fun Leap Frog Jog on Feb. 29 at Rhine Ordnance Bks., Bldg. 237. Registration opens the morning of the run from 9-10:15 a.m. with the race starting at 10:30 a.m. ($7 registration fee includes a race shirt to the first 75 participants and entry into the race.) Leap through this run with challenges along the way that will keep you jumping! Be sure to dress for the occasion (RIBBIT!) St. Patrick’s Day Fun Run
Get in the Irish spirit with one of the most spirited runs of the year! On March 13 at the Hall of Champions, registration opens at 8 a.m. with the race kicking off at 9 a.m. Dress in your best Irish garb and run for your chance to earn medals as the first, second and third place in adult male and female, youth under 11, and youth over 12. First place medals will also be awarded to those for first Stroller Pusher and Runner with Pet. CYS Spring Sports Registration
Save the date! CYS Spring Sports Registration kicked off on Feb. 1. Register your child for baseball, softball, soccer, golf or track & field. Registration is open until Feb. 29 or until teams are full. Sign-up by phone, in person or on Webtrac. Cost: $60. The season will begin in April. Track & field and golf: Ages 8-15. Baseball, softball, and soccer: Ages 5-15. Health physical must be valid through June 15. Start Smart Soccer/Baseball
Start Smart is a “child/parent interactive” sports program lead by a Sports & Fitness Specialist for ages 3-4. Sessions are 45 minutes long and are held twice a week for 3 weeks starting in late April running through early June. Sessions are offered on Landstuhl, Sembach & Baumholder. Cost is $25. Registration opened Feb. 1 and lasts till Mar. 13, or until sessions are full. Register through WebTrac, by phone, or in person at Parent Central Services.
