KMC Ambassadors
KMC Ambassadors is looking for a few good coaches. The KMC Ambassadors is a baseball/softball club that supports the entire Kaiserslautern Military Community with fall developmental baseball/softball training for kids ages 8 to 18 and in-season travel team opportunities across Europe for kids ages 10 to 16. If you have experience playing or coaching baseball and/or softball at a high level and want to help to shape the youth of our community into competitive ball players, then we are the program for you. DODEA chess tournament
Department of Defense Education Activity Europe-East District schools will kick off their annual back-to-school chess tournament, Sept. 1, from 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. in the food court of the KMCC on Ramstein Air Base. Contact Jack Woodfork at jack.woodfork@eu.dodea.edu for the pre-registration form, rules, and other details. Tournament-day registration will run from 8:20 to 9:20 a.m., followed by rules and key play information. Tournament play starts at 10 a.m. with the awards presentation running from noon to 12:30 p.m. First and second place trophies will be awarded to the top two players per group. A group or team will consist of three to six players. There is also a $5.00 entrant fee payable upon the day of the tournament.

Adult club soccer
Kaiserslautern Military Community District Soccer is looking for men and women (17 years old or older) to play in a competitive adult league. Both clubs practice on Wed from 7 to 8:30 p.m. at the Schwedelbach soccer complex. Baumholder Youth Sports and Fitness is accepting registration for the following fall sports: Soccer (ages 3 to 15), Flag Football (ages 7 to 11), Tackle Football (ages 12 to 14), Cheerleading (ages 5 to 15), and Volleyball (ages 9 to 15). Sports and Fitness is looking to expand and energize the fitness classes and services offered to the community. If you are highly motivated, enthusiastic, and have a passion to teach in a group setting or one-on-one, then Sports and Fitness wants you. There are positions available for all types of group exercise classes. This is an opportunity to start or continue your career. You can be your own boss and set your own schedule. These are contracted positions that require CPR/AED, nationally recognized certification, and liability insurance.
