ODP-E January camp

The Olympic Development Program-Europe offers youth players the opportunity to advance to State, Regional and U.S. National Youth teams. The next ODP-E camp and player selections will be Jan. 25 to 27 for a camp in Italy. For more information on ODP-E or the second round of selections, contact ODP_Administrator@usys-europe.org.


KMC Soccer availabilities

Still looking for an opportunity to join a soccer club? The KMC District Soccer is still accepting registrations for this year’s season. KMC is the largest district in Southern Germany affiliated with the U.S. Youth Soccer Europe program. All teams, including adults, play in the Deutscher Fussball-Bund (German Football Association). CYS Winter Sports registration

Sign-up your young athletes for sports through Youth Sports and Fitness. Basketball and Cheerleading are offered on Landstuhl and Sembach for children ages 5 to 15. Wrestling is available for ages 8 to 14 on Rhine Ordnance Bks. All sports cost $45. High Intensity Interval Training with Tyrell

Tyrell is an inspiring trainer who will get you fit in a hurry. He is now offering bi-weekly classes at Hall of Champions Fitness Center, Smith Bks. Bldg. 8105. Classes are 12:15 to 1 p.m. which fits perfectly in your lunch hour. These classes employ High Intensity Interval Training, a technique that alternates short periods of intense exercise with less intense recovery periods, and is proven to build muscle and burn fat faster than traditional exercise methods. Sports and Fitness is looking to expand and energize the fitness classes and services offered to the community. If you are highly motivated, enthusiastic, and have a passion to teach in a group setting or one-on-one, then Sports and Fitness wants you! There are positions available for all types of group exercise classes. This is an opportunity to start or continue your career. You can be your own boss and set your own schedule. These are contracted positions that require CPR/AED, nationally recognized certification, and liability insurance.
