St. Patrick’s Day 5K Run/Walk
Celebrate St. Patrick’s Day with a fun 5K Run/Walk at 10 a.m. Saturday. Registration will be held from 8:30 to 9:30 a.m. on the day of the event at Landstuhl Fitness Center, Bldg. 3720. The first 150 people to register will receive a free t-shirt. Show your St. Patrick’s Day spirit to compete for the “Luck of the Irish” prize for best costume. Cost: $7. Open to all ID cardholders. Landstuhl mountain run
The running club LLG Landstuhl sponsors its 19th German-American Nanstein Mountain Run at 3 p.m. Saturday. The run begins near Sickingensporthalle, the gym next to the public swimming pool, on Kaiserstrasse 128 and goes across forest trails up to Nanstein Castle. The trail is 7.1 kilometers long. The first three winners of each age group will receive certificates and prizes. The starting fee is €6 for adults and €3 for students. Shamrock climbing competition
Celebrate St. Patrick’s Day at Ramstein Outdoor Recreation by challenging yourself to tackle the indoor rock wall. The challenge will be from 3 to 8 p.m. Saturday. The event is broken up by divisions: beginner, intermediate and advanced, in both male and female categories. Cost is $10 and includes climbing gear. Participants may preregister by day of event.

Children’s ZUMBA
The Army Community Service Exceptional Family Member Program invites you to attend a kid-friendly ZUMBA event at 10:30 a.m. April 6 at Vogelweh Community Center. Open to children, ages 1 to 5 years old, and their parents. Parents, come in appropriate workout attire to ZUMBA with your children. No registration required. Memorial 5K
The 86th Vehicle Readiness Squadron booster club will sponsor the annual A1C Zachary Cuddeback Memorial 5K starting at 9 a.m.
March 19 at the Ramstein South Side Fitness Center. Registration will begin at 7 a.m. Entry fee is $20. The first 250 runners registered will receive a T-shirt. For more information, call 480-7635 or 480-2376.

Combatives tournament
The Landstuhl Regional Medical Center Combatives Tournament will begin at 9 a.m. March 25 at the Landstuhl gym. Weigh-in will be from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. March 24. The tournament is open to all U.S. service members and all skill levels. For details, email Thomas.j.housewright.mil@mail.mil.

Unit Level Volleyball Championships
Cheer on your favorite team at the Unit Level Volleyball Championships April 18 to 21, which has changed from the previously scheduled dates of April 11 to 14, at Sembach Fitness Center, Bldg. 105. Games will be held from 6 to 9 p.m. daily, with the Championship game beginning at 6 p.m. April 14. The top six teams from the 2016 season will participate. Awards will be presented to first-, second- and third-place teams, first and second individual, and the MVP. The first- and second-place teams will advance to the Installation Management Command Europe Tournament. Free entry for spectators.
