News for the Ramstein, Kaiserslautern, Landstuhl & Baumholder military communities in Germany 
A Soldier who recently graduated from Advanced Individual Training touches down in an unfamiliar land to report to his first duty station. As he deplanes, he has very little knowledge of what to expect, who will greet him or where he will go. Just before he reaches for his bags, a “First in Support” Soldier says, “Welcome to Germany.”
If a penny saved is a penny earned, a team of fiscally sound Soldiers from the 21st Theater Sustainment Command’s 16th Sustainment Brigade deliver daily dividends to dozens of MK denizens.
It was a brisk morning at the Opole garrison where U.S. Soldiers stepped into a red-bricked building and shook hands with Polish Land Forces officers saying, “Dzień Dobry,” meaning, “good morning,” in Polish.
Maj. Gen. John R. O’Connor, commanding general of the 21st Theater Sustainment Command, and Air Force Maj. Gen. Laurian Anastasof, chief of the Romanian air force staff, marked a major combined joint achievement and launched a new level of mission capability during a ceremony Feb. 28 in the new passenger transit facility here.
Soldiers from the 21st Theater Sustainment Command learned about the 86th Logistics Readiness Group’s mission during a visit to Ramstein March 7.
They come from around the organization for a chance to compete. Each was selected by their leaders and peers as one of the best. Now they have to prove it.
The 21st Theater Sustainment Command welcomed six new members into the Sergeant Morales Club during a ceremony Feb. 26 at the Kaiserslautern Community Activity Center on Daenner Kaserne.
As a Department of the Army civilian, she serves her country as a member of the 21st Theater Sustainment Command’s transformation section. As an officer, she serves the Army as a lieutenant colonel in the 7th Civil Support Command. Through her passion, she serves the community as a member of a very unique guild.

Soldiers from the 21st Theater Sustainment Command’s 557th Medical Company, 421st Multi-Medical Battalion, 30th Medical Brigade hosted three soldiers from the Bulgarian army for military-to-military training Feb. 10 to 14 on Smith Barracks in Baumholder.
