The 86th Medical Group pharmacy will participate in the National Prescription Drug Take-Back Day from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday at the Kaiserslautern Military Community Center food court.

The 86th Medical Group public health flight is the first line of defense from the world’s smallest insurgents — viral and bacterial terrorist in the form of communicable disease. Keeping the public from receiving infections or diseases is its main priority.

All of these terms have one common denominator; without the proper training and education, they mean nothing. Years of research and development have gone into creating the elite group that is the U.S. Air Force, and even during times of reduced funding, they must keep a sharpened edge.

Members of the 569th U.S. Forces Police Squadron and the 86th Medical Group participated in medical training with new mannequins May 30 on Ramstein.

During the three days of briefings, the Serbians were taught about personnel roles and responsibilities, training, qualification and certification requirements, military regulations, and mental health specialist’s roles and responsibilities.
