Take part in KMC’s Freedom Fest

This year’s KMC Freedom Fest celebration takes place July 3 to 4 at Ramstein Air Base. The event includes musical entertainment, free bowling, games, food specialties, prizes and a fireworks display.

On July 3, Freedom Fest begins at 5 p.m. with Private Organizations selling a variety of food. You can enjoy the bands, Lit and Fastball presented by Armed Forces Entertainment, beginning at 6 p.m., as well as free bowling at Ramstein Bowling Center, starting at 7 p.m. On July 4, attendees can enjoy free bowling, carnival rides, food, games and musical entertainment, starting at 12 p.m. The fireworks will be at dusk.

Private Organization food booths will be offering the following: tacos, pulled pork, kebabs, schwenksteaks, loaded fries, and much more!

Shuttles will be running from Armstrong’s Club on Vogelweh Housing about every thirty minutes to Ramstein Air Base on both days. Buses will also run from PAX Terminal and the Northside Chapel. They will begin at 4:30 p.m. on July 3 and 11:30 a.m. on July 4.

Please bring U.S. dollars, as there is only one ATM in the area. In addition, no pets are allowed onto the event grounds except for service animals.
