After a two-year pause, the largest Fasching parade in the region is scheduled to take place in Ramstein-Miesenbach on Feb. 21. MOBILE ICE-SKATING RINK, JAN. 20 UNTIL MID MARch
After a two-year pause, a mobile ice-skating rink will open in the heart of the pedestrian zone in Kaiserslautern. Skate a few rounds, turn pirouettes and enjoy some icy winter fun for the whole family. Skates can be rented and snacks and drinks will also be on sale. Details to be announced.

Thursday, Feb. 16. marks the beginning of the Karneval season in Germany. Thursday is referred to as “Altweiberfastnacht” (old wives’ Fastnacht), where witches steal the keys to the city hall and take over command for the weekend. KMC participants for Ramstein parade needed, see above.
