This spectacular festival will present artists with and without handicap from various nations. The high- class culture program will turn downtown Kaiserslautern into one colorful arena and a fabulous place to meet one another.

Enjoy a weekend full of fun tractor races, live music in the fest tent, cocktail bar, food trucks and helicopter flights at the Gewerbepark (former flightline area) in Sembach.

FESTWOCHENDENE (FESTIVAL WEEKEND)

Landstuhl is celebrating 700 years of city rights in a colorful festival from Friday to Sunday. The Fest kicks off with the “Men in Blue,” a brass ensemble of the Rheinland-Pfalz Police Orchestra on Friday evening. Official ceremony and musical entertainment on Saturday and a parade will take place on Sunday afternoon. Don’t miss out on the fun and join Landstuhl celebrating the occasion.

WEINKERWE EINSELTHUM (WINE FESTIVAL)

JULY 14-16, VILLAGE CENTER EINSELTHUM

Enjoy a typical village wine festival with wine tasting in every courtyard, regional specialties and musical entertainment. Parking is on a farmer’s field nearby.

VIRTUAL REALITY TOUR IN ENGLISH

JULY 16, 2.30 P.M., CITY CENTER, OTTERBERG

Experience mobile time travel, first of its kind in Germany. Climb aboard the rustic horse-drawn wagon and experience a unique ride through Otterberg, which combines tradition and modern technology. You’ll go back into a long-forgotten age, from the time of the monastery in 1254 to the city of the Walloons in 1615. JULY 19, 7-10 P.M., VOLKSPARK, KAISERSLAUTERN

There will be colorful evening concerts at the Volkspark every Wednesday evening. Various groups will entertain the audience with blues and jazz tunes. Enjoy a relaxed evening with culinary delights, a glass of wine or beer, or bring your friends and spend the evening on a picknick blanket.

LAUTRER SOMMERABEND (SUMMER EVENING)

JULY 20, 5 P.M., STIFTSPLATZ, KAISERSLAUTERN

The City of Kaiserslautern is hosting a series of summer evening concerts around the city center. The Duo “Neonlicht” will perform on July 20, enjoy relaxed after work entertainment with live music and a cool drink. Further dates: Aug. 3 and 17.

SPANISH EVENING AT GELTERSWOOG

JULY 21, 7 P.M., KAISERSLAUTERN

The Gelterswoog mini golf park will host a Spanish evening with guitar music from Duo Lobo. Tapas, sangria and cocktails will also be on offer. Admission free.

RAMSTEIN SUMMER NIGHTS WITH “SUPERJAM & FRIENDS”

JULY 21, 7 P.M., CONGRESS CENTER RAMSTEIN

From mid-July until the end of August the series of the Ramstein Summer Nights will take place on an open-air stage at the Congress Center Ramstein each Friday evening. Each summer night will present a different band on stage. Admission is free – the events are standing concerts with a few non-reservable seats and bar tables available. Further dates: July 28, Aug. 5, 11 and 18.

OPEN-AIR CONCERTS AT GELTERSWOOG

SATURDAYS AND SUNDAYS, KAISERSLAUTERN

The minigolf park at Gelterswoog offers concerts in varying styles every Saturday and Sunday during the summer. Some concerts are also planned on Friday evenings, check their Facebook page for details and times.
