SEEWOOGFEST (LAKE FESTIVAL)
JUNE 13 – 15, SEEWOOG, MIESENBACH
Preparations for this year’s Seewoogfest in Miesenbach are in full swing. The festival will begin at 5 p.m. on Friday, June 13. Starting at 7 p.m., the live music will get guests in the mood. The festival continues on Saturday at 5 p.m. The traditional keg tapping with Mayor Ralf Hechler will take place at 7:30 p.m. Starting at 9 p.m., it’s live music again. Sunday will kick off with a hearty morning pint, starting at 10:30 a.m. As usual, food and drink will be provided, as well as entertainment for all ages. A flying carousel and a shooting contest are among the attractions.
HUTMACHERFEST (HAT MAKERS’ FEST
JUNE 13 – 15, CITY CENTER, KUSEL
On the weekend Kusel’s old town will once again be celebrating for three days! Visitors can expect a fantastic, varied music program on several stages, delicious delicacies, and refreshing drinks. On Sunday, the shops in the town center will be open from 1 p.m. to 6 p.m., so enjoy a relaxing shopping spree! The town of Kusel looks forward to welcoming all visitors!
LONG NIGHT OF CULTURE
JUNE 14, 7.P.M. – JUNE 15, 3 A.M., CULTURE CENTERS/PEDESTRIAN ZONE, KAISERSLAUTERN
Kaiserslautern’s cultural centers will open for a long night of culture “Lange Nacht der Kultur” with music, art and entertainment for families in the afternoon and for adults with events up to shortly prior to sunrise. Over 100 individual programs are scheduled at 30 different locations. Events will take place at various locations within and around the pedestrian zone. A specialty this year is the “Lange-Nacht-Bus” (long night bus), which will travel around the city center with passengers alongside artists playing music.
MEDIEVAL MARKET
JUNE 14 – 15, MOSCHELLANDS CASTLE, OBERMOSCHEL
Step back in time and meet the fabulous ladies and knights at the Middle Age market at Moschellands castle. There will be craftsmen displaying their goods, retailers, jugglers, musicians and fire shows in addition to typical camp life. Experience the Middle Ages in a genuine castle!
JOHANNISMARKT (MID SUMMER FESTIVAL)
JUNE 13 – 15, TOWN CENTER, WINNWEILER
Come and join in the celebration around Johannistag (June 24), marking the longest days of the year and summer solstice. There will be music, food and drinks, entertainment and a village market.
Veteran’s Weekend
June 14, 1 p.m. & June 15, 8 a.m., Steinbruch, Hütschenhausen
The Reservist Association Westpfalz cordially invite you to a weekend of fun starting on Saturday, 1 p.m. with a varied program and live music by the band ‘’Roll ‘N’ Rock’’ from 6 p.m. Sunday’s events are kicked off with a breakfast from 8-9:30 a.m., followed by a short field service. Tickets cost €7 and include a voucher for food.

Folk festival fans will find everything their heart desires here: an attractive amusement park with a variety of large, modern rides, as well as an entertaining supporting program and appealing gastronomy from the Palatinate Festival Innkeepers in cozy beer and wine gardens.
GERMAN-AMERICAN FRIENDSHIP FEST

The annual and very popular friendship fest is taking place again this year. There will be a varied music program, food and drinks and lots of fun to look forward to. Come out and meet new friends!
GRAND PRIX SEMBACH (LAWN TRACTOR RACES)

Maybe not quite as prestigious as Formula One, but just as exciting and fun! Visit the annual lawn tractor races in Sembach, which have become a unique family tradition beyond the region. Races take place all weekend with special disciplines for agility, youth/teens, men and women, and promising tons of fun for spectators and competitors alike. There will also be lots of food and drinks along with live music events.
MITTERALTERMARKT
JUNE 21 – 22, BURG LICHTENBERG, THALLICHTENBERG
On the historic castle grounds (castle complex with upper and lower castles, spanning 423 m), visitors are transported back to the world of the Middle Ages. Medieval music and dance groups will entertain the audience throughout the castle complex on both days, dressed in colorful costumes and with all sorts of exotic instruments, according to ancient tradition. Crossbow and archery events complement the program. Several stalls offer food and drinks that were served to knights and damsels during the castle’s heyday. Regional produce and a lack of fast food options are also part of the program. The unique panorama of the castle complex, coupled with the medieval hustle and bustle and the attractive offerings, will leave an unforgettable positive impression.
The medieval-themed wooden stalls and tents, as well as the historical costumes of all vendors, are a given and a prerequisite for participation in the market.

Kaiserslautern’s Old Town will once again become the region’s largest open-air pub.
