***image1***Vacation Village is the campground at Edelweiss Lodge and Resort, offering visitors a choice of accommodations, as well as a camp store and equipment rental.

The campground is completely enclosed, and requires U.S. military or NATO ID cards for access. The adjacent Artillery Kaserne offers full commissary, barber, gas, fast food, exchange and gift shop services.***image2***

Tent and trailer sites come with or without electricity, and the campground offers a large, clean bath house for sinks, showers and laundry.

Cabins are either “rustic” with refrigerator and microwave but without bath, or “deluxe” with full kitchen and bath. All cabins feature a TV and VCR with AFN and local stations. The base library, just yards from Vacation Village, checks out movies, books, and offers Internet service. All cabins require a minimum one week stay.

At the camp store, guests can find morning coffee and baked goods, cooking supplies and snacks.

Just inside the campground gate, guests will find the tasty food of Dolomite Italian restaurant.

Kids can find instant playmates on the playground, and can rent bicycles, scooters, skate boards, in-line skates, helmets and protective gear at the camp store.
