Volunteers make history for 50th Ramstein Welfare Bazaar

The 50th Ramstein Welfare Bazaar is right around the corner, and almost 100 percent of the bazaar workforce are volunteers. Would you like to help? All the volunteer teams have a lot of fun, and there is something for everyone.

To volunteer, go to www.ramsteinbazaar.org and click on “Volunteer Today.” You will be able to sign up for one or more four-hour volunteer shifts. Once you are on the website, you can choose from working hangar set-up, hospitality or finance. Descriptions for each time slot are detailed on the sign up pages.

Photo15aVolunteers are needed from Sept. 11 through 22. If you are not available to work a four-hour shift, there are opportunities to make donations of prepared food items.

Do you have a group of seven or more people that want to volunteer together? Contact the staffing coordinator at staffing@ramsteinbazaar.org for assistance.

Everyone who signs up to volunteer will receive an invitation to red carpet shopping. This exclusive event takes place from 5 to 7 p.m. Wednesday. The bazaar grounds will open to the public beginning at 10 a.m. Thursday.

Proceeds from the bazaar are distributed to the KMC through the Ramstein Officers’ Spouses Club Welfare Fund. Last year, over $255,000 went back into the community.

The Ramstein Welfare Bazaar is an 86th Force Support Squadron event that is produced by the Ramstein Officers’ Spouses Club. The bazaar takes place Sept. 18 through 21 on the Ramstein flightline.

Make history with the 50th Ramstein Welfare Bazaar and volunteer today.
