The following is a list of performances and events happening in the KMC and nearby locations. Dates are subject to change.

Children’s fest
A children’s fest takes place from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday in the center of Kaiserslautern. There will be scooter driving, jumping castles, games, activities, demonstrations, crafting, street painting, air balloons, and special offers for families. • “Anatevka,” Fiddler on the Roof, a musical by Jerry Bock, in German, 7:30 p.m. today, May 27 and June 28, 3 p.m. May 21, and 6 p.m. June 24.

• Fifth Chamber concert , “Wind, Harp, Mallets,” with works by Schubert, Kotsier, Tomasi, Bach and Grieg, 11 a.m. Sunday.

• “The Tempest,” a play by William Shakespeare with music by Henry Purcell, in German and English,

English-guided tour in mills county May 20
Bruchmuehlbach-Miesau offers a 3-hour-long English-spoken guided tour May 20 as part of the annual Mills Event Days in the Palatinate Mills County. Interested participants will meet at 1 p.m. at Fritz-Claus-Huette (Palatinate hiking club’s hut on L466, between Bruchmuehlbach-Miesau and Martinshoehe; GPS 49.379232,7.482492). A miller and her servant will explain the milling craftsmanship in a former mill (Tausendmuehle, in photo). After the hike, lunch will be served in the hut.
