2011 Surf Cup College Showcase

The match ended in a 1-1 tie and the U.S. Youth Soccer Europe finished third in a competition of 16 of the best U18 club teams in the U.S. U.S. Youth Soccer Europe will again send U18 boys to participate in this year’s Surf Cup College Showcase, which will take place from July 30 to Aug. 1 in San Diego. In the last few months, the team has been training, participating in tournaments and playing in scrimmages in the Netherlands and Germany in order to get ready for the event. The team is formed of American players who currently live in Europe. Every player from the team and the coaches would like to express their thanks and gratitude toward several companies for their support of the Surf Cup team. Through several donations, the team was able to get new game jerseys and warm up suits.
