15th TTD inactivates after 55 years of service

The 15th Trailer Transfer Detachment, 39th Transportation Battalion,
16th Sustainment Brigade, officially inactivated during a ceremony Oct.
15 at Kleber Kaserne in Kaiserslautern. It was the last U.S. Army
detachment of its kind in Europe.

Construction in the KMC: Ramstein Commissary

As early as July 2009, when the Kaiserslautern Military Community Center
was opened, there had been talk of upcoming renovations to the Ramstein
Commissary.

Officials initially spoke of an October date as a projection for when
the construction would start, however that date has now come and gone
leaving many in the community to wonder what the new timeline will be.
