The Big Band of the Bundeswehr (German armed forces) will present a
charity concert to highlight the 20th anniversary of Ramstein-Miesenbach
receiving its town rights. The concert will take place at 8 p.m.
Wednesday in the Reichswald-Sporthalle on Schernauer Strasse in
Ramstein-Miesenbach.
The Association for the Advancement of German-French Partnership will
sponsor its traditional Easter market from 10 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Sunday
at Westpfalzhalle (community hall) in Niederkirchen.

A memorial ceremony was held Wednesday at the Bamberg Community Chapel
on Warner Barracks in Bamberg, Germany, for two Soldiers assigned to the
541st Engineer Company (Sapper), 54th Engineer Battalion, who died in
Afghanistan March 22.

We must commit to eliminating sexual assault from our Air Force. Air
Force leaders have focused on sexual assault prevention and response for
several years, with special emphasis on victim care.
Senior Airman Edgar Veguilla received a Purple Heart Monday for injuries
he received when a gunman boarded his bus March 2 at Frankfurt
International Airport and opened fire on his security forces team and
the bus driver.
The 5th Maintenance Company, 18th Combat Sustainment Support Battalion,
16th Sustainment Brigade cased its colors during an inactivation
ceremony March 15 at the Field House in the Grafenwöhr Training Area.
