More than 600 people enjoyed an evening of fun, dancing and prize giveaways at the annual Artillery Branch Ball, held at the Ramstein Officers’ Club March 22.

Prescription drug use has increased over the years in the military. About 17 percent of military personnel reported misusing prescription drugs. National Prescription Drug Take-Back Day will be observed locally and nationwide April 27.

According to U.S. census data, the number of stay-at-home dads has more than doubled in the past decade from 81,000 in 2001 to 176,000 in 2012. More families are balancing and re-addressing who is going to work outside of the home.
