Barbarossa fest continues 
Kaiserslautern’s Barbarossa fest, “Swinging Lautern,” continues today and Saturday in the center of town. The event features an international musical program, children’s activities, fashion shows, a vehicle display, special activities presented by the shops and food specialties. The U.S. Air Forces in Europe Band Wings of Dixie will play from noon to 3 p.m. today in front of Stiftskirche and the Ambassadors band will entertain the audience from 3 to 6 p.m. Saturday on the stage on Schillerplatz. Children can get free rides on a kiddie train, jump in a bouncy castle and get their faces painted. For more information, visit www.werbegemeinschaft-kl.de.
