A check list for 2010’s seniors

Senior year is flying by for the ones who are graduating in about two months. But some seniors are asking themselves what they are going to do once they graduate.

Emotions go wild with excitement, nerves, fear or joy. Some of us are experiencing all of these feelings at the same time. We need to sit back and enjoy our time in high school with the days we have left because before we know it, it’s going to be down to the last hour. Here is a list of eight things you need to do before your final year is over.

1. Travel — you are in Europe. As a senior, take advantage of what you have in front of you and see as much as you can before starting college.

2. Don’t Get “Senioritis” — As a senior, you don’t want to sit around in school all day and do homework, you just want to have fun and get to graduation. But the only way seniors can succeed is to work and get the job done.

3. Try On Your Cap And Gown — You don’t want to walk across the stage in a gown that is 10 times too big or small for you. It’s your night and it has to be perfect.

4. Apply For Scholarships And Wait For That Acceptance Letter — It’s only a short time until college, and the more scholarships you get the less you will pay. We would all love to have a cheap college education.

5. Take Pictures — The more you take the more memories you will have to remember.

6. Make A Scrap Book — Scrapbooks are something you can take with you when you’re lonely. We are all going to get homesick and miss our friends at times. Having something to look at for memories will be refreshing every now and then.

7. Take Your Family Out — Being a teenager sometimes  might drive your family you up a wall, but they’re the only family you’ll ever have. Take them to dinner (your treat) to show them how much you care. You’re going to miss them when you’re off on your own even if you don’t want to admit it.

8. Finally, Just Have Fun — It is supposed to be your best year, so enjoy it.
