A ruck of remembrance

U.S. Air Force Airmen participate in a ruck march at Ramstein Air Base, July 16. Ramstein hosted the 6th Annual Chief Master Sgt. of the Air Force Paul Airey Memorial Ruck to remember Airey and his 30 years of dedicated service to the U.S. Air Force.

 

German air force academy cadets participate in the 6th Annual Chief Master Sgt. Of the Air Force Paul Airey Memorial Ruck at Ramstein Air Base, July 16. The cadets visited Ramstein to build partnerships and expand their knowledge of U.S. Air Force aircraft as well as their own.

The brothers were the first to finish the 6th Annual Chief Master Sgt. of the Air Force Paul Airey Memorial Ruck with a time of 45 minutes. 

 

U.S. Air Force Airmen, assigned to the 693rd Intelligence Support Squadron, hold a banner during the 6th Annual Chief Master Sgt. Of the Air Force Paul Airey Memorial Ruck at Ramstein Air Base, July 16. Airey flew with the 485th Bombardment Group During World War II and was captured after being shot down and spent the rest of the conflict as a prisoner of war.

The cadets participated in the 6th Annual Chief Master Sgt. of the Air Force Paul Airey Memorial Ruck while at Ramstein for a two-week internship with the 86th Main­tenance Squadron to learn about aircraft and how they function.
