***image1***May is Asian Pacific Heritage Month, set aside first in 1978 as a two-week celebration and expanded in 1990 to a month, to celebrate and learn about Asian Pacific culture, history and the contributions of Asian Pacific Americans.
The Ramstein Asian Pacific American Heritage committee hosts the following events:
Tuesday: Cultural performance, Aniten Taotao Tano, 11 a.m. Daenner Kaserne
Wednesday: Oriental lunch, 10:30 to 1 p.m. Rheinland Inn Dining Facility
Thursday: Library reading, 9:30 a.m. Ramstein Library
May 19: Food tasting at the Ramstein Commissary
