Medieval spectacle

***image1***A medieval fest takes place 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. Saturday and 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Sunday on Landskron Castle in Oppenheim. There will be a medieval market with vendors, crafting presentations and show fights by knights. Various music groups perform songs from the Middle Ages and jugglers, acrobats and fire-eaters show off their skills. Tickets cost €5 for adults and €2 for children. Visitors in medieval costumes are admitted free. Parking is available in the city. Shuttle buses take visitors from the center to the fest area. Oppenheim is located on federal street B9 between Worms and Mainz.
