The vacation region Ohmbachsee-Glantal will sponsor a family hiking day featuring a culinary panorama hike and an entertaining program between Haschbach and Niedermohr from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Sunday. The hike will lead through four union communities and two counties, along the Glan-Blies biking trail between Theisbergstegen and Niedermohr and along the scenic panorama routes above the Glan Valley.

The city of Wolfstein will offer its 5th annual culinary spring and wine hike Sunday. The hike leads along the 6-kilometer “Panoramaweg,” or panorama path, from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.

Wolfstein, a town in Kusel County, lures visitors with a special attraction. The “Kalkbergwerk,” or lime mine, is an industrial monument and a museum of a special kind. It usually is open to the public from the end of March until the beginning of November.
